Get your dashboard online

Your dashboard, live for the whole team, in about 15 minutes — set up entirely by your own Claude. You never touch a server and never learn git.

How you'll work, once you're set up

Tell your Claude what to build or change → look at it in your browser → when you're happy, say “publish” → after approval it's live at dashboards.brands-den.com in ~2 minutes.

Your first dashboard to bring in

Do it yourself — 3 steps

STEP 1  ·  Get a GitHub account (github.com, use your @brands-den.com email) and accept the invite email to the-brands-den.

STEP 2  ·  Open Claude Code in your terminal and paste the prompt below. That's the whole trigger — your Claude takes it from there.

I want to publish my dashboard to the Brands Den shared workspace and get it live at dashboards.brands-den.com. I'm not a developer — please do all the technical steps yourself and keep it plain.

Please:
1. Make sure I'm connected to GitHub: run `gh auth status`, and if I'm not logged in, run `gh auth login` and walk me through the browser login step by step.
2. Clone github.com/the-brands-den/workspace to ~/workspace if it isn't there yet.
3. Read shared/onboarding-prompt.md and shared/BRANDING.md, then follow the onboarding steps: ask me my name, which dashboard I'm bringing and where it lives on this laptop, copy it in, apply our branding, remove anything that shouldn't be shared (like passwords or API keys), and submit it for review.
4. When it's submitted, tell me it'll be live at dashboards.brands-den.com/<my-dashboard> about 2 minutes after Jim approves.

If you hit something you genuinely can't do (like a missing GitHub invite), stop and tell me to message Jim.

STEP 3  ·  Answer your Claude's questions as they come. That's it — it connects you, applies our branding, and submits your dashboard. Jim approves, you're live.

Three house rules

  1. Work lives in the shared workspace, not loose on your laptop — that's what makes it reachable for everyone.
  2. Never put passwords or API keys in your work. The system scans every upload and blocks them; if that happens, your Claude fixes it and explains what it caught.
  3. Stuck? Ask your Claude first — it can read the whole workspace — then ping Jim in Slack.
